MEGAWATTS specialises in Electrical, Rotating Machinery Engineering Services, Audits & Surveys, Sustainable Energy and Project Works in marine, oil & gas and other industrial sectors. We are established since 1990, located in Jurong Industrial Estate, Singapore and occupying an area of 5707 sq.m. We have a team of skilled and certified engineers and technicians.

Our workshop is well-equipped and IEC Ex-certified to repair Ex-Motors. Megawatts is the Authorised Service Partner & Distributor for GE Wabtec AC/DC Motors and NIDEC Alternators (LEROY-SOMER & KATO) in Southeast Asia; providing aftersales support such as parts sales and performing workshop and onsite services works, including inspections, investigations, troubleshooting, overhauls, repairs or modifications, rewinding, upgrading, replacement or retrofit, maintenance, installation and commissioning.

Our services includes but not limited to the following: -

1. Electrical Services – Design, fabrication, modification, repair, testing and commissioning of switchboard, motor control center and power distribution board. Megawatts performs primary current injection test up to 16000A, secondary current injection test, hot spot detection/ infra-red scanning retrofitting and upgrading of switchgear circuit breaker and motor control centre, hi-pot test up to 20kV, AVR and PCB troubleshooting and repair work and install & repair variable speed drives.
    
2. Rotating Machinery Services – overhauling, rewinding, reconditioning and modification of AC/DC motors, generators, transformers and other rotating machineries such as compressors, winches, gears, pumps, hydraulic cylinders and all kinds of valves. Dynamic balancing of motors, white metal rebabbitting alignment, precision machining and metal spraying. Our workshop houses facilities such as 15 ton overhead hoist, washing bay with steam cleaning machine, 2.5 cu ft baking oven, 1.8 cu metre varnish dip tank, stator coil winding machine, rotor winding machine capable of rewinding rotors up to 2 metric tons and Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) system.  We also have facilities such as lathe, milling, drilling, slotting, welding and grinding machinery. We are IEC Ex and UL certified repairer for Ex Motor. 
    
3. Field Engineering Services – Voyage rotating machinery and electrical servicing and repairs, installation/modification and troubleshooting works, generator load test, safety devices stimulation test, installation and maintenance works in derrick and outside building with rope access system. Our expertise includes thermography survey, inspection & rectification at hazardous area and other surveys.
    
4. Material and Spares – Major make and brand of motors and generators (both reconditioned and brand new), design and custom make of starters and panels, all kinds of marine, oilfield and electrical spares such as cables, glands, pumps, engine and MCT and light fittings and etc. MEGAWATTS is the Authorised Service and Distributor Partner of GE Wabtec Motors and NIDEC (Leroy Somer & KATO) Alternators in SEA, Approved Service Centre of NOV, Authorised Service Provider of ABB drives and Danfoss/ Vacon drives, Authorised Distributor of PARKER Drives, IRISS Infrared Red Window, PUYOU Deep-Well Pumps, CorDEX, CATU and T-T Electric Motors.
    
5.
