Indian Engineering Company (IEC) started in 1974 and operated in Vadodara, Gujarat as an independent company. Our highly trained, motivated and experienced engineers, technicians and management team operate from our 150,000sqft workshop area with capacity of handling 180 ton machine and equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and specialist tooling. The Indian Engineering Company team has a wealth of experience in thorough range of repair of AC, DC alternating machine up to 150MW in-house services and 100MW on-site services regardless of the manufacturer.
The teams 24/7/365 rapid response to breakdown is unparalleled and our engineering capabilities include fault investigation, root cause analysis, electrical testing and thermographic surveys through to full machine refurbishments, design, installations and rewinds.
We are specialised for following work:-
- All type of 3.3/6.6/11kV alternating machine rewinding
- In-house testing facility at rated voltage and rpm up to 30 MVA
- Horizontal and vertical cast iron T slot testing bed to check performance/vibration severity of the machine at rated voltage (6 No's)
- Manufacturing and restaggering of stampings for rotor and stator core
- Reshafting, metallization of rotor shaft
- Dynamic balancing of rotating equipment up to 60 ton, 9 meter long and 5 meter diameter
- In-house global VPI insulation system up to 11kV machine
- Specialised in repairs VFD driven motors,
- Repairs of cryogenic and crude oil pump motors of 3.3/6.6kV machines
- Design, fabrication and manufacturing of water/air cooled heat exchangers.
