2022 AEMT Awards Finalists Announced
The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades (AEMT) is delighted to be returning to the West Midlands on the evening of Thursday 17th November for the staging of its 5th Annual Awards Ceremony. With a record number of submissions across the seven categories, this year’s programme has again produced some truly exceptional entries from right across the electro-mechanical arena.

The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades (AEMT) is delighted to be returning to the West Midlands on the evening of Thursday 17th November for the staging of its 5th Annual Awards Ceremony. With a record number of submissions across the seven categories, this year’s programme has again produced some truly exceptional entries from right across the electro-mechanical arena. 

The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Coventry will play host to the presentation dinner, at which professional endeavour, product innovation, skills development, engineering prowess and service delivery will all be acknowledged and celebrated. 

During the day, this venue will also host the AEMT’s Annual Conference, where industry renowned speakers will share their knowledge and expertise in a series of talks and presentations specifically designed to be of tangible value to all those companies operating within the service, maintenance, and repair sector. The combination of a professionally produced daytime conference and prestigious evening awards dinner will serve to underpin and promote the skill, effort and sheer dedication of the people and businesses serving this important sector of industry. The Winners of the 2022 AEMT Awards were announced during a Gala Presentation Ceremony in Coventry on Thursday 17th November. With a near record attendance, from right across the electrical and mechanical trades arena, the evening once again proved to be a wonderful evening of reward and celebration. Following the success of the previous four years, there was a good deal of excitement and anticipation ahead of the event with attendees eager to unite and engage with their colleagues and peers.

As we hurtle towards the end of another turbulent year, energy costs and the Chancellor’s new ‘mini-budget’ are at the forefront of our minds this quarter. The repair and maintenance industry is perfectly positioned to help navigate the energy crisis. Meanwhile, there may be some benefits to take from the mini-budget, too, although we are yet to see what the full plan is.
