ELANTAS Europe is looking to recruit a full time Technical Sales Manager to join its well established European Electrical Insulation Sales team for the United Kingdom / Ireland as a defined sales area with other additional locations as a development potential.

You will be responsible for the development of the UK and Irish markets with the acquisition of new customers and support of the existing customer base, the introduction of new and current products as well as providing technical assistance on product use and application.

Working Europe wide in conjunction with sales and Research & Development colleagues, Key Account Managers, Product Managers and our Customer Service team will be essential.

This role would suit someone who has enthusiasm for sales, is solution-oriented, self-motivated and organized, and has experience in the field of electrical insulation.

This is an ideal opportunity to join one the leading manufacturers of insulating and protective materials.

Travel within UK, Ireland and Europe will be required to fulfil this position.

 

Required / Essential Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

• A BSc or higher / equivalent in Chemistry and or Electrical Engineering

• Customer orientated with relevant industrial experience in electrical engineering or related field 

• Enthusiasm for sales

• Someone who is able to work independently with minimum support, to liaise with senior individuals and to supervise and mentor others

• Good networking and communication skills

• Motivated with the ability to work as an individual and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, report and act on own results

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Willingness to undertake travel overseas as the job dictates

• Strategic and solutions-oriented
