Background

Established in 1904, Cummins Generator Technologies (formerly Newage AvK) has nearly 100 years of experience in building electrical machines on its main manufacturing site in STAMFORD, United Kingdom. AvK was originally founded in Frankfurt Germany, and developed the world's first self-regulating alternator in 1938.

Today STAMFORD product is manufactured across the UK, Romania, China and India. The AvK product is manufactured for all customers globally in our Romania manufacturing site.

As well as manufacturing new alternators, the STAMFORD|AvK brands are supported by a world class Aftermarket Parts & ; Service Global Network, ensuring our products are supported throughout its whole product lifecycle effectively. We aim to supply parts for our generators for 10 years after the last model production date, alongside a 12 month warranty.
